Any changes made to our privacy policy in the future will be posted on this page.

First and foremost, we will never rent, sell or trade your personally identifiable information with any third party unless you have given previous consent.

What is personal data? What information is being collected?

  • First and foremost, we collect only what we believe is the minimum information needed in order to conduct our research.
  •  Personal Data is any information that identifies you, such as (but not limited to) name, email, telephone number, postal address and/or user generated photos.
  •  We may also collect and process other personal data such as well as sensitive information such as opinions, household financial data, use of certain financial services or luxury products.

How is it collected?

  •  First of all, all our research is being conducted in accordance with the ESOMAR Code of Conduct.
  • Collection occurs when completing voluntary surveys (registration, profile or engagement surveys) and your personal data is always processed in accordance with the EU Data Protection Directive.
  •  Collection of personal data in Europe can be done through our third-party recruiters also compliant with the EU Data Protection Regulation.

Why is it being collected?

  • To send you relevant invitations to participate to our own surveys and surveys from our clients,
  •  To analyze the data for research purposes,
  •  For our internal purposes such as the satisfaction surveys aiming at improving our service to our subscribers and to provide them with a better experience,
  •  To notify you about changes to our Terms & Conditions,
  •  To send you research results as well as informative newsletters,
  •  To enable our partners to send you rewards or payment cards accrued through LuxPoints.

How will it be used?

  • The results of our surveys are always used in aggregated format. All information you give will be kept anonymous and non-attributable to you unless you specifically give your consent for a different purpose within a particular survey.
  •  All data is pseudonymized and anonymized. When you join, you are automatically assigned a “Panelist ID” number (for example 25639). When you complete a survey, we tag your responses with a pseudonymized panelist ID (for example Tf5468Gfi7687Xc6). So nowhere in our research will anyone see that “John Smith said brand X is his favorite” instead it would say “Respondent ID Tf5468Gfi7687Xc6 said brand X is their favorite”.
  •  We only keep your information for as long as it is necessary.
  •  We will never rent, sell or trade your personally identifiable information with any third party.

We take all possible measures to keep your data secure and make sure that the information shared cannot be linked to one’s identity.

  • Survey results will be shared internally and with our clients.
  •  Some of the registration information may be used to validate the members’ profile with third party partners such as search engines or other publicly available information.
  •  Identity and location information may be used to enable our rewards partners to send you rewards accrued through LuxPoints.
